Talessia L Martin was born in Gadsden, Alabama but raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she resides. She became engaged in politics during the 2016 election. I have become passionate about people understanding their government because politics determines the direction our future is going in. (or because politics affects every aspect of our lives.)  As a result, I want to report unbiased news so that people in lower economic communities can be informed and more engaged.  Everyone does not have the opportunity to learn about politics at an early age, so it is easy to jump on the bandwagon and not understand the people that you are voting for or speaking on your behalf.  It is time to bypass the bias media, and STOP voting just solely based on a party.  Get to know your politicians that represent you and PLEASE do your research on ALL candidates that will be making decisions and laws on your behalf.
